I'm John Beynon. I'm a web application developer at Monochrome building websites and applications using primarily Ruby on Rails and ColdFusion for some legacy applications.

I have a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Swansea University as well as formerly being a Microsoft Certified Professional (1999 - Windows NT) but more recently am a certified Adobe Certified ColdFusion Professional and a Google Analytics Certified Individual.

I left university in 1999 and worked at ERA Technology in Leatherhead working in the IT Department, I went on to work at the Berkeley Group (property) and then in 2008 went to work at Monochrome.

I'm married to Marie and have a daughter named Louisa born in 2009. When I'm not behind a computer I love to sail - both full size and radio control yachts.
