Podcaster Adam Curry was recently in court regarding a Dutch magazine publishing photos from his Flickr collection in a gossip magazine. Despite the pictures having a Creative Commons license tagged to them, the magazine claim that because the photo is marked ‘public’ then it can be used anywhere and also because Flickr provide different sizes of the image, the hires is obviously for print publishing! No decision has been reached yet so it’ll be interesting to see what direction the judge takes.

for my early spate of blog spam…I was testing some code and forgot it was pinging MXNA with each new post. I’ve ditched the ping for the time being!

If this works I’ve just managed to connect Flickr to BlogCFC via XML-RPC.
