Another sterling effort from the legal team at Adobe claiming that the domain name infringes on their ‘Adobe AIR’ trademark.
You can read more from James on the site at http://freshairapps.com/
Can’t they see that all the guy was doing was promoting AIR applications? Heck the guy doesn’t even have any advertising on the site!
Well done Adobe! Another prize cock up and doing yourself no favours!

Finally! I can do it!
Adobe and all their crap approach to customers and community. Does it mean if I register domain such as mystinkingsocksmadeAIRinmyroomdodgy.com it belongs to Adobe? ROTFL. These guys are definitelly learning from company starting on M. Or I sould rather say these two companies are swapping places. Thought we got some fresh air and it looks like it stinks… Ooops, have I said AIR at loud? I think I owe some contributions to Adobe!

Hey, if you’re in MXNA, y’might as well read it….
(Seriously, these summertime pile-ons end up *cutting* affordable conversation. Listening before speaking is ecologically sound!)
Lots of background info in last week’s conversations, replicated into today’s conversations. Additional reference:

oh come on! Why not go after all the other sites that have advertising and making money off Adobe trademarks rather than the little guy trying to promote AIR applications! I could name dozens of domains with Adobe trademarks in who are making serious money I’d imagine!!!! Some guy came up with a great domain name, great looking site and Adobe throw their toys out of the pram.

Hey Mike dude, quit the jenkum production http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikechambers/ and help this guy out! This sort of thing is enough to make developers look for more light and silvery technologies.

If i was the owner of refreshingapps.com i would open up the format of the site to include reviews of apps written in Silverlight, XUL as well as Google Desktop, Windows Sidebar & Yahoo Gadets and whatever else new technologies come about..
