yeah, i'd pretty much say that was given. I don't know of any bundled software that would could do that with, eg MS SMall Business contains, SQL, Exchange, Proxy but you HAVE to run them all on the same box. I thought about the whole multi server thing, maybe that'll be in the next iteration :)

Hi John - Not sure if you need to account for this, but if you have CF Enterprise installed on one CPU few physical machine, and have two physical machines, I believe you still need to purchase two licenses (that's not my situation, but it was how Adobe answered it for me on behalf of a CF User Group member). That is two CPUs, but would also necessitate two licenses.

Please let me know if your research finds differently.

Cheers,

David

I've sent Jason D an email trying to work out what the EC2 costs might be (as you don't know how many CPU's you're on). Once I have the answer, I'll let you know so you can factor this in as an option.

John, unfortunately the Flash file isn't loading or initialising for me in IE7. It works okay in FF2.

Bugette - If version=Ent & CPUs=odd number then cost includes half the retail price of a full license. (Needs to round cost up to the nearest even number of licenses)

Good tool, it really does help clarify the new EULA. Now, if it can include a discount calculator and the website of the cheapest dealer... ;-)
