Is it just me or do we end up picking up RSS using a whole multitude of tools? For instance I know pick up various feeds using a combination of:
- Outlook 2007
- IE7 feeds (Vista)
- Google Reader
- Pageflakes.com
- Livemarks in Firefox
- iTunes
Is this normal behaviour? Or have i over indulged?

I’ve got all my feeds in Safari, which is surprisingly good for RSS aggregation. Now I just wish there was a more standard way to import/export RSS feeds to OPML, rathern than having to do a three-step process via Firefox and an extension. On my PC at work I used Desktop Sidebar until I started using the Mac as my day-to-day machine.

I’ve got feeds in Thunderbird and Sage on my home machine, and in Sage on my work machine, and a bunch in a Lylina aggregator that runs on my web site. I think I’m subconsciously trying to do a system where feeds I’ve just started subscribing to start out in Sage or Thunderbird, and then after a while they either make it to Lylina if I like them or get deleted if not.
