I’ve just seen this via Engadget - a USB based Linux Server!!! Now the mind boggles with the possibilites that could offer!! I think I’ll try and get hold of one.

EDIT: Except CFMX isn’t supported on Debian Linux

Though CF runs on Debian just fine for me (developer edition). Dunno about production deployment.

We have 3 servers with Debian Sarge & CF 7.x without any problem.

Check out the CF-Engine Railo (http://www.railo.ch). From what I’ve read, they managed to run CF from a memory stick with that engine.

Now all someone has to do is come up with a portable wireless access point that’s about the same size as that usb stick. You’d have a genuine mobile app server.
