Here’s something I wasn’t aware of. Google have been in ‘neogitiations’ with a UK company over their trademarked name ‘gmail’ and have been unable to resolve the dispute - I wonder how much money we’re talking here??? Anyway the upshot of it is from today onwards new UK Gmail users will now be @googlemail.com and not @gmail.com. It still remains unknown if existing UK @gmail.com user accounts will be migrated to @googlemail.com. What a mess!!

Just found out that on Friday night the first website I worked on at my new job www.royal-arsenal.co.uk (a redevelopment of the old weapons factories in East London) won the Daily Mail, ‘Best Developers Website’ of 2005…not worth much but something nice to achieve!
