first exploits with Mach-II

ColdFusion Add comments

I’ve put off long enough dipping my fingers into the Mach-II pot but recently I’ve been putting aside a little time to familiarise myself with it. I’ve gotten my head round a few of the basics but remembering all the OO terms is sure demanding on my grey matter! More to come soon I hope!

Can’t wait to read your thoughts, especially after so much Fusebox experience!

yeah it will def. be cool to hear about your experiences… remember if you get stuck just ask for help rather that spinning the wheels. I wish I had in the beginning…

    Hey John,

Not to toot my own horn, but you may be interested in trying out the Model-Glue framework (www.model-glue.com). If nothing else, it’s a little simpler than Mach-II, and can get you started with seperating your Model from the rest of things without having to judge differences between Model, Filter, and Plug-In. If you build a decent M-G app, it should be cake to port it to Mach-II or MVC Fusebox.
