Since my love affair with Firefox began i ditched Outlook Express in preference of Mozilla’s Thunderbird email client which yesterday reached RC1. I’m still exploring some of the new features but it’s yet another place to read RSS feeds as you can subscribe to RSS feeds via Account Settings - I don’t think it’s new for Thunderbird but it’s a feature i’d not previously found. It’s certainly another product capable of stealing market share from MS!

Apart from being the same name as the company I work, ERA technology is a new technology from Opera which aims to eliminate horizontal scrolling. It’s going to to an integral part of the 7.6 release

Here’s a nice festive idea, if you want a letter to appear to be from Santa Claus to your kids, pop a letter from Santa to the person in an stamp addressed envelope (to cover postage from Alaska) and then place this letter in another envelope and mail it to North Pole Cancellations, U.S. Postal Service, 5400 Mail Trail, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709-9998. They will then mail it back to you with the North Pole postage stamp on it - Nice!
