Well i thought i needed an iPod but it turns out i don’t actually need one as I already have a suitable device - my Dell PDA! If you have a new PDA with Media Player 10 on and Windows Media Player 10 on your PC then you can sync the two up from within Media player - not quite as seamless as iTunes but nevertheless it works just fine, I can even sync recorded TV shows from my Media Center PC! Only thing now is, I need more storage space - so i’ve been on Ebay and bought a couple of 1gb SD cards dirt cheap!

JB: I just went in the opposite direction… I gave up trying to use my Axim as an MP3 player and bought an iPod.

that’s interesting, did you have Media Player 10 on the PPC? I’ve heard that previous versions was just naff!
