what a shame…

What a shame that MXEurope has had to be cancelled next year down to lack of sponsorship - i attended the 2003 conference and it was great to have globally recognised speakers in attendance and with Blackstone just around the corner it would have been a great opportunity to revive ColdFusion interest in Europe

Hi John, if it’s any consolation, a UK hosting provider I’m currently working with (www.titanhosts.net) are about to roll out two CF Enterprise edition servers to cater for, in their own words, increasing demand for ColdFusion since Macromedia took over. A ’sample of one’ of course does not a survey make, but hopefully an indicator that ColdFusion isn’t in the doldrums in the UK?

Nicely designed site by the way. It’s good to see a blog with some "production values" and design decisions that listened to input from the left half of the brain! ;-) Roger

thanks for the kind words. As for UK hosts, i recently moved from Hostmysite to another UK host, so far it’s proving a bad decision - poor support, poor performance. I’m considering moving again to the VPS solution from cfxhosting with my own CF Instance but still access via Terminal services - a dedicated server without the hassle, seemed reasonalbe for $179 per month.
