A few weeks ago I blogged (here) about Macromedia offering a wopping 60% discount on their exams throughout August, an offer like that is just too good to refuse.
So i booked myself to take the exam today. Had i taken the full time i should still be in the test but i’m back at my desk after scoring an acceptable 83%. I’d have been a little upset had i scored anything lower as i like to think i know my stuff since i use most of it every day :) Aside from that thanks MM for offering the discount and now you’ve got another Advanced Cold Fusion Developer on your list.

Congrats! Sometimes the questions asked are not clear enough, and another option is possible in the specific context.

one question had a definite typo in it which i’ve alerted MM to. The question refered to a query of one name but *ALL* the answers used a different name - obiously a typo but nevertheless something MM should address.

Well done John … let’s just hope MM actually remember to send the certification pack out to you. I had to get on to them twice about it.
And they still managed to get my name wrong!

is there anything of worth in the pack? I know the Microsoft one was pretty naff, a cert and a lapel badge…woohoo!

Em … I can’t remember now.
Well you get your certificate, a badge, a cd with logos (I think) .
Probably on par with the Microsoft one. Funnily enough, Microsoft also got my name wrong when they sent my pack out to me.
